Game Mechanics

XCC RPG is a fast-paced, open-feeling rules set allowing for epic game experiences without unnecessary tethers. It uses modern game-play while paying homage to the origins of role-playing and the fun that it inspired.

XCC uses standard polyhedral dice but also has mechanics for special dice like d3, d5, d7, d24, and d30. While not essential to play (conversions are in the book), special dice for extra effects really add to the gameplay.
