Dungeon Crawl Classics #109: Beneath the Isle of the Serpents

Beneath the Isle of the Serpents is a 1st level adventure for Dungeon Crawl Classics DCC #109 Beneath the Isle of the Serpents art example

When islanders on the Starry Archipelago start going missing, the region teeters on the edge of warfare. It’s up to the characters to discover what lurks beneath the island and end its threat to the surface world.
This adventure for DCC RPG 1st-level characters expands on the material presented in Caverns of Thracia. Combining a mix of wilderness exploration and dungeon crawling, this adventure takes place in the vicinity of Caverns of Thracia, but can be inserted into any DCC RPG campaign.

More about Dungeon Crawl Classics Rules set

DCC RPG is a fast-paced, open-feeling rules set allowing for epic game experiences without unnecessary tethers. It uses modern game-play while paying homage to the origins of role-playing and the fun that it inspired.

The game uses standard polyhedral dice but also has mechanics for special dice such as d3, d5, d7, d24, and d30. While not essential to play the game (the book has conversion rules), the extra dice for extra effects really add to the gameplay.

Product Support

Goodman Games supports DCC RPG with adventures, settings, yearbooks, and sourcebooks based on Appendix N authors. Goodman Games has released over 40 adventures for DCC RPG, and more are in the pipeline.

These settings include DCC Lankhmar (licensed from the estate of Fritz Lieber), The Shudder Mountains (inspired by the works of Manly Wade Wellman), Mutant Crawl Classics (a stand-alone, post-apocalyptic, science-fantasy setting), Empire of the East, and the upcoming Xcrawl Classics and DCC Dying Earth.

All supplements use the Dungeon Crawl Classics core rules.
