More about The Dark Tower
Jennell Jaquays created The Dark Tower, one of the most famous old-school fantasy adventures ever made. Judges Guild published the adventure for AD&D in 1980, and gamers still regard it as a classic “mega-dungeon” campaign.
At its core, the campaign is about a holy conflict between the followers of the sun god Mitra and the serpent god Set, centered around a ruined temple complex buried beneath the land. Players explore a village full of intrigue and then descend into a huge interconnected dungeon with rival factions, secrets, traps, politics, and multiple entrances/exits. It’s much less linear than many early D&D modules.
