Horns Up! – A Card game of Heavy Metal Fandom

Horns Up! is a party-card game set in the chaos and energy of a Lacuna Coil rock concert, where 3 to 9 players each compete to reach the front of the stage first. Players build their way forward using Path Cards, while trying to hinder opponents with Wall or Ticket Cards. As the audience shifts, any Path Cards left unoccupied are flipped when players move, altering routes and forcing everyone to adapt their strategy. With crowd dynamics, blocking moves, and opportunities to disrupt others, the race to center stage becomes a frantic mix of tactics and luck.

More than just a race, Horns Up! captures the vibe of a metal show: loud, immersive, and full of breathless moments. The game features the band members on Stage Cards, whose presence influences the crowd and shifts the gameplay.

Designed with feedback from thousands of concert-goers, Horns Up! aims to replicate the electrifying atmosphere of live music, with “friendship-threatening actions” which test how far players will go to be first at the barrier. It’s fast, fun, and built for fans both of games and of the raw energy of a live show.
