The Sisters of Barking Abbey have ruled this land for centuries. They collect taxes and tithes, educate children, and protect the daughters of the nobility, sent to them for a different kind of life.
But what happens when the cracks start to appear in the facade of power? What happens when a man, stripped of the authority that meant so much to him, turns to bite the hand that feeds? What do the commons do when they are caught in the middle?

The Enemy of My Enemy is the third adventure for Gallows Corner – A Peasants’ Revolt RPG. In the Essex abbey town of Barking, a factional struggle is about to break on. On one side are the Sisters of Barking Abbey, who rule the town and gather its incomes. On the other, Walter Grim and his rebels, an ex-official for the Abbey turned mad dog looking for vengeance.
Set across five days in the Holy Week of Easter, players will find themselves caught between a rock and a hard place. Neither side deserves their help yet both present compelling reasons to aid them. Which side will the players choose, and will their efforts make Barking better for the commons who live there?
