The heart of England is verdant and green, a forest stretching beyond the horizon. The soul of England is cold and dark, a fist grasping for everything it can reach.
People say Nottinghamshire belongs to one man. Who that man is, however, changes on who you ask.
In Nottingham Castle, the Sheriff plots his rise, built on the stolen wealth of a whole county. In Sherwood Forest, Guy of Greenwood and his outlaw crew do whatever they can to tip the scales.
The people have chosen their champions, but power won’t go down without a fight.
The Gold of Greenwood is the second adventure for Gallows Corner – A Peasants’ Revolt RPG. A dark take on the popular Robin Hood legends and stories, our players find themselves on the edge of revolution in Sherwood Forest. But the people’s hero — Guy of The Greenwood — is a broken man on the verge of defeat.
Act 1 introduces the setting and sees the players stage a daring rescue. Act 2 turns the city of Nottingham into a point crawl. And Act 3 sees the players staging an uprising against the brutal Sheriff of Nottingham.
