This tome is a revision of the original book by the same title, published for use with D&D 3rd edition. This revised edition of The Wise & The Wicked sees all the same characters return (and some new ones too!). They’re all updated for use with 5th Edition of D&D and the Scarred Lands Player Guide.
Known to its inhabitants as Scarn, the Scarred Lands is a place of dynamic heroism, supreme villainy, and incalculable magic. Scarred and twisted by the battles between the Titans and their children, the young gods, Scarn still bears the wounds of the Divine War. Fought less than two centuries ago, the war pitted monstrous titanspawn against humans, elves, dwarves, and other “divine races”. It left the world permanently changed.
The Wise & the Wicked Second Edition introduces a gallery of Scarred Lands characters who carry out the will of the gods or the fallen titans. This compendium of non-player characters may be introduced as good friends, bitter enemies, temporary allies, invaluable contacts, and more. The supplement introduces villains such as King Virduk of Calastia, the Black Dragon, along with his wife, the beautiful (and black-hearted) Queen Geleeda as well as potential allies like King Thain the Just, the Aleking, ruler of Burok Torn–and so many more!
Note this supplement requires use of the Player’s Handbook for Dungeons and Dragons Fifth Edition.
