Description
Fossilized Violence – A Prehistoric Roleplaying Game
In Fossilized Violence, early humanity risks everything to fight back against evolving dinosaurs. Set on the primaeval supercontinent of Pangeon, the game tasks players with defending early humanity from evolving, meat-eating dinosaurs. Players choose from one of four cave civilisations and complete quests across 58 regions. As you hunt, you’ll unlock 140+ pieces of equipment to give your cavemen a chance of surviving long enough to become an elder.
Players who survive long enough to retire as Elders, return as non-player characters who provide permanent benefits to future generations.

Break out your old dinosaur toys. Fossilized Violence gives them a new life on your game table!
Abandon grid-based tactical combat. Instead, use hands and fingers to measure distances and aim as well as in tactical combat without annoying calculations.
Fossilized Violence features:
- Dice Mechanics: It uses a “hyper-explosive dice system” combining attack dice and a “d4 of fate,” which re-rolls continuously on a maximum result. Turn order is decided by a simple d12 roll.
- No Rulers or Grids: Instead of traditional grid maps or tape measures, players measure movement and distances directly with their own hands and fingers.
- Stats and Traits: It uses a simplified three-stat setup (attack, defense, and specific body/trait proficiencies) alongside heavy emphasis on brutal critical injury tables.
