Pathfinder Quest is a Cooperative Adventure Board Game for 1-4 players aged 14+
For many years, the farmers, loggers, and woodworkers of Falcon’s Hollow have lived a simple, prosperous life. This is despite being in the shadow of Droskar’s Crag, a massive volcano looming on the other side of Darkmoon Vale. The dungeons carved into that mountain were once a den for monsters that menaced the region, but they’ve been quiet for over 10 years. Now, something stirs in the depths once more, causing the restless dead to pour forth and the mountain to belch smoke and ash, threatening every living person and creature in the Vale! Fortunately, your band of daring adventurers stands ready to face this growing darkness, wielding deadly weapons and utilizing powerful spells to protect the people of Falcon’s Hollow from a terrifying fate. Do the adventurers have what it takes to turn the tide and get to the bottom of this mystery?
In Pathfinder Quest, you make your own character by selecting from a diverse range of ancestries, backgrounds, and classes. This gives the skills and abilities needed to face off against the undead horde and discover what’s behind their sudden resurgence. Each session, you and your fellow players will undertake a single adventure, braving a series of encounters that form one part of a larger ongoing narrative.
Throughout each adventure, you’ll face deadly foes and difficult challenges, as defined by the Adventure Book, but don’t expect to learn all the game’s secrets so easily! The consequences of your actions and choices are revealed in the Challenge Book only after you’ve made them. Ensuring that there’s always another mystery to solve. As you play through the campaign, your characters grow in power, gaining new feats and spells enabling you to face even more powerful foes and gather wondrous treasure. Throughout the campaign, your actions shape the end of the story through the record of your deeds and the choices you’ve made.
Will the people of Darkmoon Vale return to a peaceful life? Or will they be forced to flee from their homes to face an uncertain future? Only you and your actions will decide!
