March 1793; the Levée en Masse has begun and the Civil War in the Vendée is about to erupt.
The French Revolution was not welcomed by all in France. The staunchly Catholic and Royalist people of the Vendée militaire region were unwilling to sacrifice their youth to the voracious appetite of the Republic’s military conscription machine. Instead, they prepared to fight, proudly donned the sacred heart, and swore an oath to resist.
Will you be able to use your commander’s Glory to mitigate the situation on the board to your advantage? Attempt to influence unfavourable circumstances through difficult decisions, as the campaign unfolds.
